Sheer Professionals Hair Styling Studio established an apprenticeship program for our stylists over twenty years ago. Each new stylist works as an apprentice for a year after they join the company while they are thoroughly trained to evaluate facial shapes, body structure, and lifestyles and to create looks that compliment these characteristics. Our goal is to make a difference in our staffs' lives by training them to make a difference in their clients' lives by providing great styling services and offering all of our services in a very personalized manner. We have a passion for training the young people who are coming into this profession and helping them become team players and achieve success in this industry. Over half of our stylists have been with us over ten years and we have a couple who have been her over twenty-five years. We're fully automated with seven computers that house all kinds of information from coloring formulas to information about your hair type and preferences. We look at hairdressing as a true profession with ourselves as professional image consultants.
We have been published in hair fashion magazines world-wide and were noted by Salon Today magazine as one of the top, most intriguing salons in the United States. We participate in Relay For Life and will be doing a Locks of Love event for the American Cancer Society. At the Cancer Survivor Walk, we'll be bringing twenty-six people back to the salon and giving them complimentary makeovers. Locks of Love creates custom wigs for children that have cancer or illnesses that result in hair loss. Volunteers with over ten inches of healthy hair can come into our salon and our staff will donate their time to style their hair while removing the hair that's being donated to the Locks of Love program.
