Jerry Yochum, owner of Country Truck & Auto, has been in the automobile business since he was only seven or eight years old. He got his start in the business by helping his father, mother, brother, and sisters in their auto parts store in Michigan until 1974 when he moved his family to Ohio. After almost two decades of running his own auto parts store, Jerry sold the business to allow himself to apply his attention to his new business named Kountry Truck & Auto. Kountry Truck & Auto is strictly a used car dealer and we offer quite a variety of cars and trucks. We specialize in trucks ranging from smaller trucks like Ford Rangers and Chevy S-10s to three quarter ton and one ton pick-ups. Most of our vehicles range from two to five years old. Each vehicle receives an independent frame inspection guaranteeing the frame has never been damaged in addition to both engine and transmission inspections. If a vehicle fails any of these tests, we automatically reject the vehicle and it never makes it to our lot. Once the vehicle does get here, we do a complete oil change, tire rotation, and check the brakes as well as performing our own vehicle inspection. We fix any problems needing repair and we have a Carfax done on the vehicle so we know the entire history of the vehicle. Each vehicle is completely detailed inside and out, and, if the vehicle has been smoked in, it also goes through our ozone machine which restores the vehicle's interior condition while removing all prior odors. Once we're done processing a vehicle, it's a fully cleaned and sound vehicle.

We accept trade-ins and we take the time to explain the entire buying or renting process to our customers. We want them to know how we determine trade-in allowances and understand all the details of the buying or renting procedure. Our high percentage of repeat business tells us that our customers appreciate the way we take our time with them and how much they value our "no pressure" approach.

We also offer auto rentals with our U-Save Auto Rental franchise. We also rent newer, late model vehicles that range from cars such as Chevy Cavalier and Ford Escorts all the way up to full size cars like the Ford Taurus and Sable models. We rent pick-up trucks, fifteen passenger vans, mini-vans, and cargo vans. In order to keep our rental prices low, rather than going to General Motors and buying twenty new vehicles to rent, we'll purchase local vehicles with between five thousand and nine thousand miles on them and then put those vehicles through the same rigorous testing we use for the vehicles we sell. Our rentals are available by the day, week, weekend, month, or whatever time frame best fits our customers' needs.
